Welcome! Wikis are websites that everyone can build together. It's easy!

How to add a Photo

  1. To add an image to The Samples Photos page, start by clicking on the "EasyEdit" button. "Easy Edit" button
  2. Once you click on Easy Edit, the Easy Edit toolbar (below) will appear. Before you do anything with the toolbar, scroll down past the photos already posted to where the empty grey boxes are. Clicking on the first available grey box that says "Place your picture here" will "select" the box. You'll see little white squares in the corners. Now hit the delete key to get rid of the grey box. Your cursor should be blinking in the place where the grey box was. NOW you can go go to the Easy Edit Toolbar - it should already be open and at the top of your screen. Click on the "Image" button in the toolbar.

  4. Type in a short description of your image—this text will appear when site visitors place their cursor over the image. Then, click “Add Image.”

  5. After you’ve filled out the details and clicked on the “Add Image” button, an “Edit Image” dialog will appear. This new "Edit Image" dialog box will be just at the top of the new image you just added. It may be hiding underneath the easy edit toolbar. If you have a jumbo image that you just added, you may have to scroll up to the top of the image to find this dialog box.

Don't worry - you aren't stuck with a jumbo photo. You can change the size of your image by using the (-) or (+) options. You can also change where your image appears in relationship to the copy on the page by using the layout icons. When you're satisfied with the size and layout of your image, click on the "Done" button in the toolbar.

Click on the "Done" button when finished
                  6. Once you've got your photo sized down so that it is similar to the size of other photos on the page, you can click underneath the photo and add a text description. When you're all finished, click "Save" on the EasyEdit Toolbar at the top.
