The Music. Well that is the main reason we are all here and are all fans of this great band! Well this page is going to be a central location for various links, sites, downloads and all around place's to find The Samples music. Enjoy!
This site is one of the best resources you can find for live Samples music to download listening (among 100's of other bands). They have an archive (hard to believe I know with the name!) of just over 40 Samples shows. All of which you can download in various formats and bit rates. As well about half the shows that are archived there you can stream and listen to right on your computer. It's a great thing for anyone who can listen to music at work.

This is going to be a weekly (as you can tell by the name:)) download of a favorite Samples tune. Something old, something rare, or just something you're digging at the time:) And a short description of what the track is and why you're into it:)
Ok so I figured this was the inaugural download of the week that I would put two songs up for download, an older live tune and a newer one. The first song is from a Samples show at the Fox Theater in Colorado from 1994. It's Birth of Words, but there is a cool little 2ish minute intro that Sean calls The Hunt. And he talks about it being a story about cavemen. It's a short intro, but I think it's just beautiful. Don't know much background about it. But it's an awesome segue into a fantastic 10 minute version of Birth of Words.And the second song is from a show in Philadelphia PA, from June of last Well summer.I'll It'stry themy secondbest to last song of the set, and it's Sad World. I know not the happiest title of a song for a first download, but I think it's such a deepkeep song that I can relate to. However, I had been UBER sick last week, and then I found out at the end of the week that my roommate is moving, andsure Isome have to find a newnoticed apartment! So needless to say, I've been a tab busy. But enough of that,not andbeen onable to what you really want...THE MUSIC!So the newdo downloadso of this week is also an old-y if ya will:) It's again from that same showlate. at the Fox Theater in Colorado back in 1994. Not to go to over kill on that show, lol, but I just can't get enough of it recently. Of all the live shows I have (40ish or so) it's deff. my favorite show of the original line up of guys. It's just got SO much feeling and emotion. Now that's not saying anything about the new guys, and the new shows. Hell it's those guys, and those shows that have turned this band from one of my favorite bands, to my favorite band. ButI've somethingforgotten about this old show I just can't get enough of! So enough of my yapping, on to the music:) Here is a cut of Feel Us Shaking from the fall of 1994. I just can't get enough of it. I'm listening to it right now, and I must have listened to it a dozen times whileJust atbetween work yesterday:) Some just fantastic and wonderful little jams weaved in and out during the songs 10-11 minutes!
